Why Get Baptized?
Baptism is a public profession of your faith in Jesus Christ. It is a representation of your sins being washed away, just as Christ did in the River Jordan. Baptism is a sacred ceremony that shows your new brothers and sisters in Christ that you have joined the family of God, so that they may walk alongside you in your faith.
When To Get Baptized?
Once you have accepted Jesus as your personal savior, reach out to our Pastor to schedule a baptism. This can be done in the weeks following your decision, in front of the church family on a Sunday morning of your choosing. Remember that baptism comes after salvation, because it symbolizes the confession and repentance of your sins.
Next Steps to Baptism
If you have decided to move forward with baptism, please contact our Pastor. He will coordinate a time for your baptism to take place during a worship service. If your child is interested in baptism, our Director of Children's Ministry will speak with you and your child about this commitment and when to take this step.
